Thanks! I carry it in my jeep. It always turns heads when I shoot it at the range or screwing off after hunting. People compare the recoil to shooting a 12ga dove load one handed. I love it. If I ever have to use it for personal defense I don't think I will ever have to pull the trigger. Something says when you pull a 5 shot 2 1/2 lb pistol at someone they will die of a heart attack or stroke. I am currently trying to see if someone local can engrave the end of the barrel to say "smile wait for flash"

Favorite personal weapon?

My SA 1911 TRP.

Favorite weapon I've fired would be the M242 Bushmaster 25mm Auto cannon. Followed closly by the M134 minigun.

Cphilip, the stock on the carbine looks great. Is it an original? If so what maker? I have one of the IAI remakes, from what i hear IAI has the original machinery to make'em.

I have an AK, a 1911 and a Glock 30. But truthfull I love my 7 dollar walmart Machette. Which is always under the back seat.

But if I had to choose from a rifle or handgun it would be the 1911

My 1911 is at my other house, but will get a pic some other time (leave it to my cat to ruin the picture)

Older picture you can see some of the 1911

I hear everyone talking about the 1911. I already posted my bfg of a pistol (454 casull). Here is my CCL pistol here in Texas. It is a Kimber 1911 CDP (Custom Defense Package) 45 ACP. I carry a clip of 230 grain Golden Saber Hallow Points.

Yea, the Glock was the first gun I had gotten. Now that I have a few others Im not to fond of its size, to small for my tastes.

I'd like a sig to, considered getting rid of my Glock 30. Im not to big of a guy, being skinny its hard to hide the glock... It was my second, first was a 9mm, picked this up when I was travelling all the time back in 1999.

Yep. Its a Quality Hardware receiver and mostly... but as usual its a bit of a mixmaster with a few Rockola and IBM parts inside. Its serial number puts it in at August of 1944.
