Feet or ass?

So someone laughed at me for the way I get into my Jeep today.

Basically, I grab the steering wheel with my right hand, step onto the footplate with my left foot, and while pulling on the steering wheel I go ass-first in and sit onto the seat.

Is this not normal?

Unless you are 6ft+ it really is hard to get in any other way

I see that all the time. It is the lady-like way when wearing a skirt.

If the jeep is lifted, there is no lady-like way.

Smeg, that's the way I get in to my jeep. I hang onto the roll bar though. You really shouldn't use the steering wheel, you can break it.

I put my right foot in, grab the rollcage and hike my ass onto the seat. I haven't worn a skirt since I lifted it.

Agreed. The number one question I get about my jeep is, "How do you get into that thing?"

If she's cute I say, "you start with your phone number!"

That's how I get into my jeep as well. When I get into Anya's jeep I reach for the grab handle on my PSC cage only to find out..... it isn't there.

Sometimes I to the back-to-the-Jeep pull-up or sometimes I grab the cage with my right hand and put my left hand on top of the half door, and jump in. The high sides on the racing seats can make it a little harder. I probably look goofy getting in it but its ok. I don't mind.

Cheap-O ebay buckets, I think. They were in it when I got the Jeep. But they're really not too bad, I'm only like 5'9" 165, so they're pretty comfortable for me, being a smaller guy.

They look sharp though.
Would you say they are more comfortable then stock seats.

I don't really have anything to compare it to, I duno how the stock Jeep seats are. But if they're like most stock seats, these are a different kind of comfortable. Stock seats are usually pretty plush with plenty of padding and springs, these ones are still padded pretty good, but it seems like its more of a dense foam, and these seem more rigid, and just hold you where you need to be, which is really nice. Even with my Jeep square on its side, the side bolsters did their job. But the seats are probably much less cushy than stock.

I am only 18...probably still got some growing to do. Yeah that kind of growing, too. Bof of em. But if anything I'd think this shit would make me fat. Eating whole bags of fun size candy bars in one sitting generally isn't too good for the figure. But I guess I have a fast metabolism. Or somethin.

i stand next to it, grab either the wheel or the roll bar and am pretty sure i go right foot first then step on it in the there. it seems kinda wierd going left foot first, bc you've gotta get your right right foot where it belongs amidst all that crowdidness. but i also have big feet, maybe for people with smaller fett its not as big a problem

I have a nerf bar on so i put my left foot on it, grab the roll bar with my right hand, and as i stand up on the nerf bar i am pulling with my right hand, at the same time putting my right leg in followed by my butt. These are kinda awk'ward to get into. I don't think there is a right or wrong way ... just what your comfortable with.

Nah, it's like mounting a horse. You put your left foot in the stirrup, help pull yourself up with the saddle horn and swing your right foot over. Same sort of motion gettin in a jeep.

I grab the roll bar handle, swing my right leg in then pull myself up and over the bolster of the seat. Suspension seats have a way of reminding you they're there.

I had to replace my steering column because of said action. There is a bearing behind the clock spring that I wore out from years of grabbing the wheel to get in. So I replaced my entry method.

4" lift and 33's, no problem. The wife on the other hand constantly complains about it, which is why the next mod will be sliders.

Right foot on rear wheel, right hand on vertical part of roll bar, behind seat, lift for elevation, stick left foot on rocker knocker bar, twist, and flop into seat.......... On the DD, with 4" lift, just stick right foot into Jeep, and get in.
