Fender flare paint question...

I am getting ready to paint my factory fender flares with Krylon fusion. I've read that gasoline dripped from the fuel filler will eat through the paint, but what about carwax? Living in a rust belt state, I actually need to wash and wax my Jeep a few times a year to protect the finish. Does carwax react with Krylon Fusion?

I haven't had any issues on mine and I used Flat Black Krylon Fusion.

Gasoline will most definitly cut fusion paint my driver side rear is really streaked because of this . If you do get gas on them dont try to wipe it off it makes it look even worse !
