Fiberglass, Kevlar or Aluminum Body?

I am going to be rebuilding my Jeep and I want to know which is the better way to go?

Lighter is better and rust proof is ideal.

I want to be able to use the soft and hard top.

Any advantage or disadvantages to these! It is going to be a 1991 Jeep Wrangler with a 4.0L

Fiberglass is hard to setup but can be fixed if damaged and it will look just like it was earlier. Its preatty much like painting a wall at home... I've never used kevlar so no idea. Aluminum also rusts and its harder to repair. I personally would get Aluminum since its stronger and thinner while Fiberglass will bend a lot although it's 1/4-3/8 of an inch thick. Simply for a sports car bumpers i'd go with fiberglass but for a body of something that is suppose to be tougher go with aluminum.. again i'm excluding the Kevlar in my opinion

Don't know anything about kevlar bodies. Fiberglass sucks.

Aluminum rocks.

Think about the fibers in fingers lol like that fiber stuff inside the speakers.. ehh... Usually the bottom/under side is not plastered (i think its plaster) so you will get fibers in your fingers and those things hurt and anoy like hell since they are harder and stay sharper longer. I installed a bodykit on my first car.. miata... what a pain to work with the fiberglass.. It sags if it doenst have any support for some time but once you get it right its good but just getting there is the pain in the behind.. one of the positives is you can allways apply more plaster on it and sand it down and it will be perfect again while aluminum... i dont think so... i'm still wondering why cant you paint carbon fiber?

Why not just find a donor tub and keep it factory? I've never been a fan of aftermarket bodies (especially fiberglass). My $.02
