It is supposed to hit 70 here tomorrow. It will be nice, but we will pay for it tomorrow night and Tuesday morning with some big thunderbangers, I'm afraid.

It hit about 70 today and if the jeep wasn't out of comission I would have been top down as well. Its midnight and it is still 61.

I envy you all, our 4th straight day of rain is tomorrow, and 2-3 more to come. And winter break is over, back to school

60's......what is that? Year around top down here on Oahu. Yes it's nice, but I envy every single person on the mainland....there aren't any places to go wheeling here. Oh well...only 9 more months...then I'll be stationed somewhere else.

Roseville was 49 today, and that was the highest temp in the last week by far. Where are you in Central valley? Today was also overcast from 8:00 AM on, and still is, but how bout the 50-60 mph winds we had this weekend. our trampoline got airborne, cleared our 8 foot fence, and landed in our neighbors pool. The wind also knocked down so many trees it looked like a hurricane went by.

P.S. Our power was out for 36 hours, but with the generator hooked up our cable was still on! Today our power came back on, and the cable went out. Comcast, go figure

I love Hawaii, went to Honolulu twice. It doesn't rain on half of the island

May what a duty station. It was even better when I got extended to make a school date so I ended up there 3 1/2 years. North Shore, gotta love it.

Don't even want to hear it. It's snowing like crazy up here in the Himalayas of northeastern Afghanistan. We even have to put snow chains on our Humvees. It sucks having to actually drive anywhere, I'm used to being flown around in helos, but they won't fly in this weather. I wish I had my Jeep up here, the mountain passes are gorgeous. Oh well, this isn't my first deployment and it won't be my last. I've learned to cope with being away from my ride for long spans of time. Makes me enjoy the time I have with her all the more!!

That would be great, we get the cold temps, but it hasn't snowed in 6 years. Snow hasn't stayed on the ground for over 5 minutes in my lifetime.

I heard that.

January tornadoes seem to be worse than in the spring. These storms have not moved since 5:00 this afternoon. It's 11:00 now. More lines are forming and it looks like the dog will sleep under the bed tonight. (sissy Schnauzer!!!)
