First jeep

Would a 2007 jk jeep wrangler be a good first jeep i plan on taking it to school and doing light off road on the weekend... Should i lift it or not with what im doing

I'd personally go with the TJ, but I'm totally biased. With it going to school with you, I'd leave it stock for a while (both TJs and JKs are quite good off road in stock trim) and see what kind of stuff you're wanting after that. What kind of terrain are you looking at wheeling in? Also, make sure the frame isn't rusted to hell on whichever one you're getting. Hope this helps, and good luck in your search.
