Ok I thought I'd seen a post on how to post pics but now I can not find it. Anyone that can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Click 'Post Reply'

At the bottom of the screen you type in, there is a button: 'Manage Attachments'

Click that, then browse to the pics you want to upload. When done, click the 'upload' button.

When done, click 'close this window'

This is the drilling involved, plus one more hole once the upper bracket is tightened.

Bottom left is how the brackets look once installed, and bottom right the finished project. I'll post a better overall picture later. I took many pictures of the install if anyone is wondering how difficult the install is. The Garvin expedition rack looks good and is rugged as hell. Thanks for the intel on picture posting!

Did it hurt when you drilled your first hole in a new Jeep? Anyway, good job looks nice and clean.

Yes I was very weary of doing so, especially considering I've never drilled metal before! I did stare at my measurements for about an hour though with this worry of drilling in the wrong place. I think the beer helped relax the inhibitions of screwing something up!

Looks great! How much did that set you back?

Does it fold back if you want to remove the top?

This rack is $998 everywhere I've seen it. It does tilt back for easy removal/storage of hard or soft top. Hard top is removable without the need for tilt, but I've yet to try it myself.
