First "mod"! - Questions about wheels/lifts

I'm relatively new to the Jeep community, and I'm considering my first "mod" to my '08 Sahara. I really like those wheels that are black in the middle and have a silver trim ring on the outside. I wouldn't mind also making the tires a little bigger. Here are a few questions that come to mind:

- Would I need a lift to go any bigger on the tires than what the '08 Sahara's come with?
- If so, how much should I expect to spend on having a shop (likely the dealer) do a basic "next step up" lift?
- What are some good websites to check out for a selection on these types of wheels/tires?
- Any basic, totally ballpark, idea of what it would cost to upgrade wheels/tires to what I am describing?

Thanks for any input/ideas!

You can go up to 33" tires with no lift.
Check with:
4wd.com
offroadtoystore.com
rusty'soffroad.com
northridge4x4.com
quadratec.com
these are a few of the vendors I have used. You can have a budget boost installed
to save some dough. BB's are usually just pucks and shock ext.

This is ours with 33's before I put the lift on.

Thanks for the info - I appreciate the response! By the way - you have two really nice Jeeps from above and the "so sad" posting. While your red Jeep already looked good before your lift, it looks terrific afterwards. Was that a budget boost, or a full blown lift? Any ballpark on what either might cost? Also, anyone know what size tires come standard on the Sahara - I know the wheels are 18", but I can't find size info on the tires.

Thanks again!
