Fixes needed

two questions: I have two slight tears in my soft top where the plactic snaps under the frame, is there any way to fix that? Also the zipper broke on one of my side windows, and again, is there any way to fix that? Maybe some one else has had this happen. HELP!

Welcome to the forum. I would take it to a marine upholstery shop. they are pretty good at repairing these issues. And exactly what broke on the zipper? You may be able to fix that yourself.

yep, try this:

sorry

the soft tops get worn out. not much you can do with rips, sometimes with some cleaning and lube you can realign the zippers to work better.

Thanks for the pic suggestion, but living in NY, after Sept. that's not really an option. I think it's the "box" part of the zipper that just fell off. Still trying to fix myself, but....................

Awesome.

On the small rips. Ask around. there's a company called Dr. Vinyl.

They sell franchises, and basically a guy drives around in a large van repairing seats, tops, pinstriping, etc...

I had the local guy here fix my seat (the vinyl on the side was torn all to hell when I bought it. 40 bucks later, its like new, and I've had it like that for ~2 months no issues.
