Fold out canopy?

I just saw this while I was drooling over the many accessories I can't afford on 4wd.com: Trail Shade. Anyone have any experience with this? it seems like it would be pretty narrow shade, even though its 6' wide. Anyone know how well these work? Or does anyone know of anything else similar to this?

Thanks

50 bucks looks a bit expensive since it looks simple enough to buy the stuff at Dick's or camper's world for under 30
