Forcing adjustment of electronic outside rearview mirrors?

I have some child soldiers that wash my 2 door 2013 Jeep wrangler for me and they like it. They to a good job but always move the Power Mirrors, Outside Rearview Mirrors out of adjustment. It worries me a bit because I think the internal mechanics of the Power Mirrors are being forced to move around manually instead of electronically, like gears grinding and a gear tooth is going to break or something. Does anyone know if manually pushing the glass mirrors around is something to be concerned about?

they are designed to have give in them, but i personally wouldn't make a habit of forcing them, i am care full when washing them not to move them around.

I asked this same question to few guys I work with, the wizard says one can stande outside the jeep and manually move the outside power mirrors around all day long and it wont hurt them. Can someone test this on their Jeep and let me know if it breaks them?
