Fordyce Trail. Northern California.

Looking for a maiden journey here in Northern California for my 2001 TJ. I camp and hunt up in the sierra's, Jackson Meadows, and Meadow Lake.

Just wondering if my TJ would be suitable for this trail.

2001 TJ 2.5L
2" lift
32" mud terrain tires
48" highlift jack
CB Radio
8000#winch
2 five gallon carb cans

Also if anyone is in the area and looking for a novice to join on a trail ride, I would like to give it a shot.

Thanks all. Keep the pictures coming. Quite inspiring!!!

Todd.

Fordyce is not a novice trail.
Your signature does not say anything about lockers, without them you will not make it.

Fordyce is (IMHO) a step UP from the Rubicon.
I have also been hunting and fishing that area for over thirty years. Webber Lake, Jackson Meadow Res., Fordyce and Meadow Lakes. There are a lot of mild logging roads and intermediate trails in the area. Fordyce is not one of them. Many of the tougher areas do not have by-passes.

I am sure you can find a few that would be glad to "Drag" you through it for sheer pleasure, but you won't be the one laughing.

Sounds like Hollister is the way to go. I am available any weekend. Heck, if you guys wanted to do it on a week day, I have plenty of vacation days. Let me know. I would love to break in my TJ.

As long as it cools down a bit. This 112 degree days are killing me.

I'm pretty much available any weekend to and weekdays to. If anyone wants to go in next few weekends let me know. Also there's another trail that I've run some buddies up near the town of Arnold which is a pretty cool run.
