Front skid without advertisements?

I'm looking to replace the front plastic skid on my '08. Id like something like the Skid row off road plate but I'd rather not be a rolling advertisement. Does anyone make anything < 100$ that'll work and not have their name displayed that large?

Thanks

Rugged Ridge makes a plain black front skid but it's about $169.00. I have the RR XHD bumper, but the $169 has kept me from buying the skid plate.
I think the skid row letters are cut out. Maybe you could glue or with small machine screws affix a peice of painted black sheet metal or plastic to the back of the plate to make the letters less noticeable. You can't beat the price for the skid row plate.

Ya that's the thing, the price is great but I'm not a rolling advertisement if I can get a hold of a brake I'll do my own.

Amen to that. The one thing I do like about the RR skid is that its a thick metal, and looks like it could take some abuse. I think if the skid row plate takes a good whack it'd be toast.
Good luck with your search.

You can always cover the billboard with a rectangle piece of steel or aluminum diamond plate
