Fuel and Temp gauge not working.

What could cause this. Just had my radiator cleaned out and the gauge worked before I had worked done it.

What could cause this?

Is it just those two gauges or is it your entire instrument panel? Do they work intermitently or are they totally dead?

Please post your Jeep stats, it may help answer your question knowing what year it is.

Oh sorry it's a 1997 Wrangler. The fuel gauge is completely dead but the temp gauge works some of the time.

you might have a loose connection... my battery gauge only works some of the time but i dont want to take the dash off... i would guess you need to check your wire connections

My fuel gauge works randomly as well... and it is the only one.... so not for sure if it is a loose connection or the fuel level sending unit... would really be pissed if I spend the $200+ to replace the unit and find out it is still doing it...
