full length v. half bikini top

I currently have a full length top on my jeep as well As a dust cover the top tends to sag bad in the rain. Do the half length tops have this issue as bad. Id put my hard top back on but i don't mind rain its the puling water thats starting to concern me as its already riped one strap

I never had one rip. It got stretched out to where I couldn't sit strait up in my rig.

They have a top prop that would be easy enough to DIY. I also had a friend that ubolted some wood between the two horizontal bars that kept the water from pooling.

And sponge. When it's supposed to rain, I put the pole in the cup holder on my center console and prop up the center I the top, putting the sponge between the pole and the material, and the rain runs right off. I only extend the pole enough to give a slight slant, not enough to stretch it the other way.
