Just so everyone who doesn't already KNOW this.....I have done my research after going rounds with the Superstition Sprgs Chrysler Jeep dlrship in Mesa, AZ and I have come to find and CONFIRM what the f*#k the "original factory warranty" is on my 04 Wrangler Sport 4.0 and it is as follows: Drivetrain/Powertrain 7 yrs/70,000mi, Emissions says 2 yrs/24,000mi but this is NOT entirely true...for the Catalytic Converters = min of 70,000mi, Corrosion 5 yrs/100,000mi, and then the illustrious "Specific Components" 8 yrs/80,000mi. These are figures that ANY and ALL dealerships CANNOT argue and this has become worth itz weight in GOLD to me so far. So I am hoping that this helps anyone out that needs it and if anyone needs an actual printout like the one that I have now that I shoved in the dealer's face....go to carfax.com and look under Cost of Ownership & Value Rating and below that will be Orig Manuf Warr. This is what I found for NO cost at all by jumping around the site so u do not have to pay a dime! Have a great day all!

x2 I bought mine used and was told by the dealer (and I had thought so as well) that it was 36,000mi bumper/bumper and the usual emissions warranties that are federally regulated. I bought an extended bumper to bumper because of that.. GRRR, this would mean the stupid dealer still has to work on my power train for 30,000 more miles if something goes wrong :crash::crash::crash::crash::banghead::banghead:

Shockingly NO! It is not just for 1st owner.... There is ONE clause in the fine print here in front of me and it states for transferable warranty and it only lists "drivetrain" for this clause (not all the rest...emissions, etc cuz it shows em separately) and it goes as follows "A $100 powertrain deductible applies after the basic warranty coverage period that is transferable to second owner only" but as I stated, the rest of the orig fact warr that I posted does NOT apply to this 2nd owner only unless it is the powertrain.
