G Force chip

the first time I clicked on this site I noticed an ad for the G Force chip..It claims 60 horse increase,4-7 mpg increase, among other advantages..I wondered if anyone here had tried them..I have a 97 wrangler with a 4.0 and automatic..the engine is stock except for improved breathing and exhaust..I am running dana 60's with 5.13 gears and 37 inch tires..what in your opinion would this chip do for me ,good and bad ??

I do not believe in much past the placebo effect when it comes to these chips. Who knows..maybe I'm to skeptical. Unless the stock engine has been purposely and electronically power-restricted (and why would Chrysler do this?) I cannot see how a chip can "unlock" 60 hp. That just seems like snake-oil marketing.

Makes for a expensive paper weight. Thats about as much bennifet as you would see from it. Outside of running a supercharger the 4.0 gives you the best performance it can stock.
