I am so extremely excited. I've always wanted to get a jeep and I am finaly going to get one. I have a wife and three kids so I'll be getting the unlimited wrangler. I went to a local dealer that sells jeeps. They sell them already lifted with bigger tires and rims and stuff
Although I've always wanted to get a jeep I never really looked into or followed jeeping? I am mostly going for looks and will only be going on light trails. It is prob. some kind of sin for that but I figure that I'll get addicted to trailing and end up doing that. It has a 3 1/4 inch suspension lift / 35's for the tires and some other stuff that I can't remember right now. The salesman was really good. I'm not buying anything till February and he spent about 2 hours showing me the jeeps and the features and generally talking to me about what I need for what I am planning to do. I especially liked the fact that he actually talked me out of the rubicon because if I am buying it lifted then I don't need those features. Got any advice for someone about to buy? I don't want to take the time to do the work myself because I just don't get much time off. Also i was looking at ways to make it last forever. Logically here the cooler you keep the engine the longer it will last. will an aditional air cooler help the engine last longer and is there such a thing is cool overkill? for either the engine or transmission.
