Girl jeeper question?

I'm short 5'1" and found myself in a pencil skirt and heels trying to crawl up into my jeep! Not an easy feat with a jku sahara! I usually take the car when dressed ! your method when you are dressed in something tight or short. Wish I had a stool so I'm not exposing myself on the streets!

I bet your Neighbors love when you take the jeep when your dressed up . I would !
Look into a Electric drop step that would keep things a little more private while getting into the jeep .

That would certainly be a sight to see. I'm betting you'd have to almost be a contortionist to keep your modesty intact.

Beyond the drop down step (or bringing a stool), I imagine strategically placed grab handles would help as well. Though I don't think you'll find too many mass produced handles that aren't on the top bar of the roll cage but if you can fabricate some (or know someone who can) that can be mounted lower in the door opening they would probably help considerably.

This thread needs pictures of you trying to get in and out before we can make the appropriate suggestions.

My wife is just a fraction over 5'-0" and our Sahara is her DD. With its 18" wheels and the highest ground clearance of any stock Wrangler she doesn't seem to have much trouble getting in and out of it.

I don't know if she's tried it in a pencil skirt and heels yet.

A stool, with a rope attached, so you can pull it into the jeep once you're up.

It's like soap on a rope for the prying eyes of your neighbors instead of inmates in the prison showers.

I get in like mounting a horse somewhat. Opposite leg on bar, hop and swing other leg in (instead of back and over) and slide in. Im lifted on 37" tires. I get out by hanging both legs out and just hopping. (Calves of steal without a workout will be the result)

The biggest prob I run into is when reaching in for something. Because of the lift im on toes bent over reaching up. All us girls know exactly what that does to anything supposedly covering the rear end. LOL.

You need some firecrackers, with ten second fuses.
Light - drop - and walk to jeep. Enter vehicle during explosions.

I use this technique when I have to go to the mailbox and I don't want to put my clothes on.

I don't have a lift but when I go to the bank , I need to unbuckle or get out the car! Defeats the purpose of drive through !

Are there pull down step ups?

Most of them are powered and operate off the door switch. Open the door and they drop down. Close the door and they retract.
