good/bad? normal/not normal?

So i was seeing how low i could get my rpms in my jeep before it stalled. Turns out, it wont stall. Like i just let it coast at liek 3 mph for a very long time and it did seem to want to stall. Is this good/bad, normal, not normal?

Thanks guys.

it shouldn't stall out if everything is running right

really? i thought that if it was in gear and you just let it ride, eventually itll stall because you are giving it any gas. no?

Oh you have a stick

My guess would have been yes... but I haven't driven a stick since my license test, that third pedal is "Iffy"

OK guys, its normal. I have a 5 speed and it'll actually idle up slight inclines.

Yeah it should be geared low enough to pull itself definitely on level ground. Now going up a hill it should cut out and die

it's totally normal. I've actually idled mine up some pretty steep inclines covered in snow. The engine has enough low RPM torque to keep turning the wheels.

4.0 is a torque monster. It's not made to go fast, just to get there!
