Another side of the coin....I have an '04 Sport with almost 155K on it. I did have clutch and waterpump replaced in the last couple years. I have done some minor "MODS".
IMO if it has been taken care of, is mostly stock or all stock, and everything is in "good repair" I would not hesitate on it, but would try and get the price down just out of general principal. To me that sounds like a "fair price" but depends on what you think is fair and shape of vehicle.
My '04 doesn't use oil, and I wouldn't take 10K for it. And is only a "Sport" instead of a Rubi'.
Edit: water pump and clutch less than $750 FOR BOTH COMBINED.
