Good deeds should go unspoken?

A brand new red rubicon parked two cars away from me while i was at the store, I came out, his gas cap was off, I put it back on. Just as Im about to leave, older guy and his wife walk up to it.
Me: Sir, thats a nice lookin rubi
Dude: Thanks, thats a nice used, uh...
Me: It gets the job done. You left your gas cap off so i put it back on for ya
Dude(with a look that only said 'why are you touching my F***ing jeep): thanks..
Me(with a smile i couldnt fake any better): No problem!
Then I left. Good deeds wont stop, but next time, I'll just do them with a smile and my mouth shut I guess.

Also went 0-6 on jeep waves today...

I really hate people like that one time I was changing a trailer tire for a family well long story short there 20 year old jack broke on me almost crushed me well they got all pissy at me even-though I still change the tire with my car jack.

O the good old jeep wave for some reason that went away in 2007?

It's hard to.decide whether or.not to wave to jk's around me because all with the exception of two are driven by soccer moms who are on their phone the whole.time anyway

I was riding to the store on my bicycle and I saw a large high school student trying to free-up his mom's Econoline from mud in the high school parking lot. I asked him if he needed any help and he cursed me out loudly. I began riding away and the tone of his voice became nicer and he said, "Unless you have a 4 wheel drive!" "I do," I replied and I rode away.

I am with Jimbox. He does not give build or other info on the web I do not help others unless asked. People can be weird. A good deed can turn into a good nightmare or lawsuit. I am not paranoid but cautious.

Last night i was getting back to campus from class and i saw 2 kids with the spare out and i asked if they needed help. Very kindly they were like "Anything would help now!!! haha"
so i went over and the kid was trying to get his lugs off without the key.... he didn't know there was one. so it took a while to get the lugs off given that they were rusted on and he was trying to do it.... i got them off after a little tug, we got the spare on and he offered me $50! I told him i couldn't take it and he tried to push it to me. I ended up getting a hand shake and a good thank you!
I felt good that i helped someone cuz he really couldn't have done it alone... i guess this is ike the opposite of your experience but still.
have a good one!
