Wow that was awesome. A lot different from going full speed into a mud hole.

"you may have the urge to jump out but there's no reason to be hasty"

You may also have the urge to abandon certain death when you see it coming but...seriously?

I don't think any of us would even try that in a factory stock TJ, we just need our mods. On the other hand i don't think a TJ or JK might be able to handle some of that stuff with mods either

Read the comments first and the whole time I kept waiting for something that I wouldn't take the 4 popper on and it never came. Just a nice ride. But. I sure would take my 4 popper there and zero mods other tham some tires and tow hooks. Didn't see anything that "low and slow" wouldn't handle. People are to quick to mod everything before you find out what a stock Jeep will do. If anything the mods take the fun out of the experiance. Nice video.

Agreed. There was nothing a newer and bone stock jeep couldn't handle. If anything jeeps have gotten MORE capable as time has marched on. Those jeeps were all pretty much stockers

Why not? I've been trying to tell people here all along, stock jeeps are very capable. I had a '75 CJ5 with stock poker chip tires and took it down to Cabo San Lucas and back in 1981, with the guide books of the time warning not to take this trail or that, which I took with no problem. Just like in the video, slow and go.

By the way, I've never been, but I believe the trail in the video is the Rubicon, which is near Lake Tahoe. Conquered by stockers.

By the way Hiker, thanks for posting. Very cool.
