got our first decent snow

well it wasnt much but enought to make the roadways fun, well for me anyways..lol..i went driving around last night with a buddy and listening to the CB for any trouble any where and i found one car that slid off a back road into a phone pole...i stopped to make sure he was ok and he was...but that road was just solid black ice...it was hard to even walk on it...but i didnt want to pull him out since he hit the phone pole, messed up his car pretty good

then on the CB we kept hearing about a multable wreck on the same bridge at an exit near us, so i had to go explore...we got on at that exit to see what it was like, and a semi going north bound went across the median and ended up in the south bound lanes, and there were cars in diches (this is on I-75), and so im getting on, going real slow, shoulda had it in 4WD but had it in 2 for some reason, and i looked over my shoulder to make sure i had room to pull onto the highway, and there was a semi that had moved over to let me get on and as i was looking at him, my rear end started to go out on me and i was heading right for the semi......damn near slid sideways infront of him only to get T-boned, but i caught it, and then shifted it right into 4WD...lol

well they were still talking about that wreck and i got on the CB and told them i almost became apart of it by sliding infront of a semi and a trucker came on saying "yea, that was me"..lol..i appoligized to him and he told me under the circamstances he understood and said he saw a pair of lights coming up the ramp and thought he should move over..so i told him i appreciated that and he answered with "anytime".....he was a cool driver

but yea, thats what my night consisted of last night..lol

Isn't it fun sliding the rear end around in the snow...well unless you are sliding in front of 50,000 tons or whatever those things weigh. I've been playing on the snow a bit too. We are supposed to get 8-10 tonight and another 10-12 tomorrow. I can't wait!

that must be nice..lol..we are getting around 4 or a little more tomorrow night and i cant wait for that....last year, however, we got about 24 inches of snow in one night or 2....that was AWESOME...i had my 98 Grand Cherokee then with the 2 inch lift and bfg MTs and that thing did awesome in that snow...i was pretty much the only one that drove anywhere when me and some friends would go anywhere in those few days bc, simply enough, we needed 4WD to get any where..i only got stuck once that year, well with that jeep, got stuck also with my old YJ that i also had
