I spotted what looked like a great deal on Bestop Element doors for our '09 JK on Amazon, so I ordered them. When they came in, the storage bags were not included although the description said they should be. Through Amazon, I sent an inquiry to the vendor who responded that they had shipped the part number that Amazon had listed - which didn't include the storage bags. A little research showed they were right, the description and the part number didn't match.
So to make a long story short, I got on the phone with a thoroughly pleasant customer service rep at Amazon who took the time to understand the situation. She offered me a "one time exception" refund making up the difference in cost to order the storage bags from Amazon. She emphasized that their policy was only to take back items that were incorrectly described BUT she felt this was not the customer experience that Amazon wants so she went the extra mile.
What a contrast to the abysmal customer service from most vendors (Quadratec anyone?). I will definitely be using Amazon again for Jeep "stuff" when their prices are close to the competition.
