Half metal doors

Hey guys, got a quick question just out of curiosity...

So I have full metal doors and I've seen something 3 times in the past day that makes me wonder. I've seen 3 separate jeeps with their windows half zipped. So it's just hanging partially down. I thought it was broken the first time I saw it, then saw it again and again lol. Was wondering if they're just too lazy to take the whole window off or what. Sense I have glass windows I'm ignorant to the thought process of the plastic windows. So anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

On an angle I mean. Didn't think much air would get in that way.

(forgot to say that lol)

just take my uppers off and throw them in the back takes all of 2 mins to take them off and put them on. I've seen a lot of people with them like you described and I never got it either,

Maybe some people feel they don't have the "time" to take them all the way off or only a short trip or they are "smokers" and trying to let smoke out, but running a/c? Allergies? /don't want hair "mussed" before their work/ appointment/ on their way to a wedding, Church/Religious Services/Formal Dinner etc.-I have half doors and these are reasons I have done that. But generally upper doors are in the back end

"Like"........

OP, I'm guessing the guys you see with half doors just want to keep the uppers with them for some reason... Otherwise they'd be rockin the upperless look or doorless.....

Cool, I thought this was going to become a half door hate thread. I would be the antichrist, JK, halfdoors, stock, never offroad. Talk about hate!

I dont run my doors at all unless the weather is bad, but if I do and I have the uppers on, I partially unzip them when smoking or if I am somewhere that I cant afford the power loss when AC is turned on. Living in Arkansas though, I am doorless 6 to 7 months out of the year.

I love the armrest a half door offers, over a full door any day, and the fact that they are soo much lighter, to remove, as well as keeping some mud out wheeling while having superior visibility over a full door... And yea, I fold my uppers to crack a breeze often, sometimes it's to warm for buttoned up but not warm enough for topless, especially in the rain.....

My ma always told me "don't do anything halfway unless it's the door on your jeep!"
