I just bought a Jeep (1st timer) and can't wait for Spring to off road. I'm wondering how heavy the hard top is in lbs? Is it difficult for one person to remove the top?

It's a 2 person job. If you have the freedom top with the 2 removable panels, those are easy to take off. The rear section requires 2 people. It's not very heavy, but it is awkward.
The rear portion of a JKU hard top is approx. 100 lbs. The Freedom Top panels are approx. 15 lbs each.
We offer a few hard top removal options for 1 person. Click each photo for more info.

My wife and I have taken off our TJs top before. Awkward and not fun but doable. 150 lbs or so.
