Hard Top Leaks

Hello All,

I have had my jeep for a year now and am having a hard time with the roof continually leaking. It has already be fixed once because of the weather stripping giving out. But now a couple months later it's leaking again in more spots. I thinking of brining it to a dealer agian for it to be fixed but it's getting annoying. Any ideas?

Much thanks!

Mine is leaking on the drivers door upper rear. I noticed today with LA's first rain. Not sure how to fix, underneath the weatherstripping is a think foam layer and seems to soak up water. I have taken the drivers side top off twice since we got it 11/4/13. Any ideas anyone. Have not contacted dealer yet but will if it persists.

Mine has been at the dealer for over 2 weeks with a leaking top they can't fix, sent to leak specialist. They have tried 5 different seals adjusted the doors and can't get it to stop. Will know more tomorrow after the specialist tries his majic on it. I told them to buy it back so we will see. I have claims agent involved thru Chrysler. Take to the dealer and let them deal with it and stay on them.

Mine is not leaking, I'm sure there is more which are not leaking than the ones that do.

But in any case, yes it is a concern.

I have had a leak problem from the day I brought mine home, 7 trips to the dealer. I believe they got it right this week. I had customer care dealing with the problem, the dealers don't like it when corporate office gets involved.

I went to the LA Auto show yesterday and talked to one of the Jeep/Dodge reps and asked and its a known problem. Too bad they have not come up with a sure fix.

We had a really hard rain a couple nights ago. I noticed a few drops on the dash above the radio and a small puddle on the middle console under the parking brake. Its a 2007 and only a couple drops. I'm not too worried about it unless it gets worse.
