Hard top question

Do you and is it ok to wax the hard top on the new jeeps?
I have waxed the body but held off on the top but have thought about waxing it...
Thoughts?

The paint on mine is kind of rough. Paste wax wouldn't work well. You could spray it on at the car wash... YMMV

i wouldn't wax it. Because of the rough surface, it would be hard getting all the paste out. I would just use a body/bumper molding protectant spray. Spray some on and then use a rag to spread it around. It's going to be more durable than your paint in regards to protection.

Is it a painted hard top or the standard black one?

I did mine with turtle wax ice and it worked great. No residue and much easier to clean now

I wouldnt wax it... Its paint but a special kind and it has kind of a rough coating on it. How come you are thinking about waxing it?
