Hardtop 1989 CJ -vs- 94 YJ

Anyone know if a hardtop from a 1989 CJ 7 will fit on my 1994 YJ?

Thanks a million!

Is it a CJ top on an 89 YJ? If so yes cj top should fit the new one. Or if its a 89 YJ top it should fit the newer yj as well. You many need to adj the windshield frame holes however.

Should still fit as far as I know. I would besure to chek the front lip where the screws go to make sure its in good shape.

I think CJ 7's are the same bodies as YJ's from the front window back. I have read a few things to support this.
WikiAnswers - Will a yj body bolt onto a 80 cj7 frame can you use the cj front clip on the yj tub

I was able to get a hardtop to fit it perfectly. From a 1992 I think... Now Im hunting for some doors with the rounded corners for it. Either full doors or half door uppers. Mine are pointed from the softtop. May be able to modify them, I will check tonight.

I was able to find a hardtop, complete, black, good windows and hatch for $275. Then, I basiaclly stole a set of 1992 complete full doors for $200. Only problem, they're red. But I don't care, wanted to paint the whole jeep anyways. Will get some pics... The topper has a nice US Marines mural hand painted on the inside roof.

All installed, super super easy. The hardest part was leveling the doors to my jeep by loosening the brackets a little. All alligned, works great, super quiet going down the road and I can hear my radio!
