hardtop redo

im starting this as build thread on redoing my hardtop!
so my plans are to take the hardtop off and clean it up and give it a fresh coat outside, and replace the window seals as they are starting to pop out and crack (also is it all hardtops that the seal dosnt meet all the way at the bottom?), on the inside im going to clean her up and paint a beautiful rebal flag and clear coat it! then here comes my main question, when i go to re attach it i do not wanna use the old hardware as we all know sheet metal screws and the windshield frame just dont mix, so was looking at the kwik kit for latching the hardtop to windshield frame but im not gonna use the hardware they supplies for the back, il just go to lowes for that stuff, so does anyone know if i can get those latches anywhere else alone and how do i attach them? and if you have pictures of the latches and how there attached then that will be great! thanks cant wait to get started, the wind coming through is bothers me!
