Harley mirrors

So what's this I hear about guys running these ling stem Harley mirrors with the doors off. I don't wanna test mi cops with trying to ride mirror less. Do those mirrors fit into the door hinge holes? How well. I've had people tell me that they work quite good but I want some more opinions. Any help and pictures would be really appreciated!!

Harley Davidson Long Stem Mirrors, best option for running doorless....I use them whenever I go Doorless.
Takes all of a minute to put on and adjust.

Where did you get them from?

I ordered mine online from a harley dealership at a really good price.
Just go to a dealer and ask if he has any factory long stem take off's (someone changed mirrors when they bought a harley).
You could also try E-Bay.

Part No's 91909-90A(right side), and 91910-90A(left side)

Wow thanks! Really a lot of help. How well do they fit in the door hinge holes?

Kind of a compression fit, put a washer on top, slide into the hinge, then washer and nut on bottom (if you buy them new they will come with multiple washers and acorn style and regular nuts). Once tightened it will be solid enough to not move at highway speed but if you smack something with it it will pivot. You will occasionally see a slight vibration in the mirrors due to them being basically hard mounted to the tub but nothing terrible.

Agree. I will say on mine there is just enough thread sticking out to get the acorn nut on securely.

NewYJOwner's look a little bigger too, which would be good.

How much do the mirrors typically run?

I think I paid $30 for the pair.

I lied, just looked it up and they were $27 each from Harley-Davidson® Parts and Accessories.

I'm looking for some of these. Don't know how long I will be looking for a decent used set. Cheapest I can find is around $50 plus shipping.
