hazzard lights...

So.. um... my hazzard lights have decided they like to come on whenever. Unfortunately, the lights on the dash don't always light up so the only way I know they're on is the noise, which without the doors and top on I can't always hear.

Is there a fuse or something that I can remove maybe? I don't want to have to tear apart my steering column...

Short of electrical taping the button down I'm not sure what to do.

I "believe" that yes your HZRD lights have their own seperate fuse. The problem more than likely is in the switch for them. Why the dash lights don't flash is

On both TJ's I've had, the turn signal lever sticks (just a little) and makes the left turn signal come on when I brake. I just wiggle it and it sets back to center. I have never figured it out and probably never will. Next time it does it, tap the lever and see if it helps. Of course, your problem may be all together different than mine.

It's the actual hazards going though. And they're driving me bonkers with all that clicking... that and people asking me if I'm alright. I started to think I looked deranged then I figured out my lights were a blinkin'.

On the dash they light when I push the dealy down to turn them on, but many times it's just the clicking that tells me they're blinking.

I'm thinking of prying that little button out and filling it with glue.

My 97 did it. Do your hazzards actually come on, or just make the beep? My 97 did that when it rained realky hard a few times. If your cars were rained on our something, check either your blinker/hazzard relay blinker thing, or your clockspring.

Tiny, your may be a build issue.. 05/06 seem to be having more issues. Ypu shold still be in warranty..go to dealer!

My friend had a blazer and the hazard light switch got broken. When the switch was broke it would flash the lights constantly, but he taped it down a little until he could get it fixed and he was good to go. What do you have to do to make it stop blinking??
