Default Help!!

The jeep is causing problems. Los of them
-The rear diff is leaking
-the engine is leaking from basically every place possible
-the clutch is going out
-the trans is leaking
-we think the trans is on its last leg...
-speedo isn't hooked up(thats easy)
-engine is not only leaking oil, but burning it too...
-Oh and the rust on the tub is multiplying like bunnies everyday...

So now we are on the hunt for a replacement engine and transmission. I think my sister wants to keep it a jeep engine, and if we do that we'd go with the 4.0L....any other simple/common engine swaps?

**LOOKING FOR A 4.OL AND MANUAL TRANS TO MATCH**

I would say scrap or sell as parts and find another jeep in better shape.

didn't you already post the same question a little while ago? if you want, i'll take a look and offer my opinion if you should upgrad the driveline, or if its just got too many probs. most of what you stated would get fixed with new driveline, except for rust.
