Help

Got bored today at work and was messing around on Craigslist, I noticed a guy selling a 4" lift kit for a YJ. So what I need to know is what questions I should be asking the seller. It comes with springs, shocks(rancho rs5000), u-bolts, ect.

Thanks

First ones I'd ask would be how many miles it's been on and how much wheelin its done.

U bolts should always be replaced after being removed from the axle. Once you torque the Ubolts to spec you will distort the threads causing them to weaken in that one spot. They are cheap and plentiful so I would definitely replace them.

don´t buy r5000 shocks. i had them last year and they were rusty only 2-3 month later.
the ride/handling was very good, but the quality is very bad.
