help asap please

I'm trying to buy my first wrangler tomorrow, its a 95 with the 4 cylinder motor.. has no serious frame issues and very little body rust which is very uncommon for indiana/ohio. has a small crack in the windshield.. good tires all around, soft top but does leak but just a drip, has exhaust leak, and runs pretty good. he's asking 3200.. i offered 2800 and he said he'd take it.. is that a good deal?? also my next question is i plan on pulling a small trailer with maybe up to 500 pounds on it for maybe a 3 hr drive one way or so... is that going to be to much for the 4 cylinder motor or should it do just fine? I've been looking forever for a decent jeep in my price range, I finally found one I just need to know about the motor power.. Thanks guys and fast reply's will be awesome considering I would like to buy it tomorrow

Your not going to be able to much with a 4 cylinder. It's a Honda civic with four wheel drive

The deal doesn't sound bad at all. But I wouldn't try to pull much with it. But that's me personally. It will but a lot of stain on the engine and the trans

94. No frame damage. 4 cy. It's a good price. Is it stock? If so you won't have any problems pulling a small trl with 500 pounds on it. BUT if you put bigger tires/ lift you're def gonna have issues

10 to 12 sounds reasonable. Will prob only get around 14 without a trl at all. It's a box on wheels. Lol

I have 95 with 4cyl, it's a little slow on hilly highways, I can always keep up with the speed limit though. It does pretty good around town, and it's very capable off road.

If you really want a wrangler all that won't matter, you will love it. My top leaks, I have no carpet, crappy mpg, it's loud, and in the winter It gets cold. It's my daily driver and my weekend warrior. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have a 99 with 2.5 l engine, and i pull a trailer all the time. Just a bit gutless on the highway, but offroad in 4 low, or high, and it does awesome. But 12 to 14 mpg is about right. A cheap soft top is like 200-300 $. Loove my tj. Gutless and all.

Try rubbing some bee's wax on the seams and it should help with the small leak. You can also use it as a lube for the zippers. Congrats on the new Jeep and welcome to the forum.

On the seam leak, go to wallyworld and head to the camping stuff. They have Coleman seam sealer for tents... works great on Jeep soft tops too.
