Help me out here.

Ohkay, from my understanding, a bump stop stops the suspension from bottoming out and they go in the middle of the coils. But how EXACTLY does a bump stop stop your tires from fitting into your fenders or fender flares?

And lastly, what are good bumpstops for front and rear with 33in tires...

Thank you for suffering through my ignorance

You kind of answered your own question.
The Bumpstop will keep the body/fenders from bottoming out on your tires. your shocks will be toast also

That can be prevented by adding washers to your steering stops
