Help me with this new front bumper

So I just took delivery of this bumper and had a winch plate fabricated and welded on at same time. But I think there may have been confusion...I needed it for a hawse fairlead and well, this looks like its for a roller fairlead.

Do I just bolt the hawse on and have the gaps showing (which I think would look silly) or is there an adapter plate I can use to make it look like a clean install.

Thanks!

The bolt pattern between a haws and roller are the same, the hole looks a little excessive.

I'd just be nice and laugh it off with the fabricator as a "woops, my bad".

Might offer beer or food for thier time to make you a simple Hawse fairlead plate to cover the roller opening.

Problem is, hes across the country and not local.

So I'm cutting off the fairlead mount and replacing it

I would still contact him and let him know. It may be he is not familiar with the difference or may think one style fits all...If your cool he may refund some of your $$.

Might call him see if he can ship you a plate that doesn't have a Huge cable hole, ask him for 40 bucks to have a fab swap it out. that's wrong for a roller too.

Ok...its fairlead bracket is cutoff and now bumper is primed & bedlined. I went ahead and ordered a Poison Spyder hawse fairlead bracket which should be in this week. Then i'll be able to mount the new bumpers & winch.

By the way, the company who made these bumpers for me hasnt returned my follow up email about a little compensation back from him charging me for fairlead mount bracket and me having to go cut it off and pay for a correct mounting plate.

Oh well, love the bumper and I got the job done!
