Did mine last spring as part of my waterproofing mods. Also bought Bestop seat covers. And don't forget to pull your drain plugs. And then to complete your "who cares if it rains with my top down" attitude...you should buy a Dirty Mudder Column Cover to keep your vulnerable clock spring from causing you a electrical grief. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f37/new...s-d-57523.html

I also put the bestop seat covers on mine at the same time. I have since bought some 1" body plugs from eBay and made some more drains. There weren't enough in my jeep and the factory plug locations could have been planned out better.

For how long the leftovers of Herculiner remain usable?

I used the duplicoat from walmart and am not happy with the way it looks. it looks like ceiling popcorn. I am going to redo it with the herculiner after seeing this. Thanks for the pics.

They had some pic's, of the outside, in another thread. I think it's herculiner vs rhinoliner. I would just search herculiner.

I am doing raptor liner spray on the outside. Its a urethane mix. Gets a little harder. I will post pics when I do it. Should not be long now. I think I am going to use the Herculiner on the inside of the jeep though.

To sum up, I've heard of people puting it down as just a water and rust barrier and then carpet over it. I finished the interior revamp a day ago and I couldn't be more satisfied. The smell is fading out to the point where I can't tell unless I think about it. As for the underside of the hood I'm honestly thinking of doing that tomorrow with the leftovers. Whoever asked about cost: I got a professional quote on rhinoliner and it was 600 bucks. Just choke down the fumes and bear with it cause it'll save you at least 500. All in all I'd have to say it's the best mod for the money I've done yet. Oh and if you use a wire brush instead of a scrubbing pad it goes WAY faster and you get a deeper bond into the actual metal flooring or at least the subprimer. I'll upload a better finished product pic later tonight for those of y'all still mulling it over. BTW, for all you desert off roaders, dirt and sand air blasts out of it clean as a whistle so easy offroading cleanup for you

Pick up a gallon of paint next time your at a home improvement store. thats about how much weight your adding. and if you don't put the carpet back in thats how much weight your taking out.

I herculined the body under the door between the fender flairs and the fender flairs with my leftovers. Sticks good to the body, does not stick as well to the flairs... Its all about the prep.

I put herc on a YJ I once had. It was summer so by the next AM it was good to go. You only get two of the rollers with the gallon so pick up another one or two because regular rollers don't leave texture like it should.

I accidentally leaned into the back and got herculiner on my elbow..PITA to get it off.

Anyhow, it is good stuff and worth more than the 100 you pay for it.
