"I truly have enjoyed this debate with you, Scoob. However, I feel we might end up going back and forth and eventually step on each others' toes, feelings and/or personal convictions. As such, I will cease from responding. We have probably hijacked this thread enough anyways. And since I have already invited a negative response from JCS05Rubi I should probably stop now as I do not want this to turn ugly.

If you feel like continuing further discussions, please feel free to PM me."

This kind of courtesy to each other in the face of heartfelt differences is exactly why I enjoy this site so much. Congratulations on keeping it courteous and civil. Now if we could just get the rest of society to act this way!

Well said, My dad is an officer and hates tinted windows!

I do not want any LEO to be shot or shot at. That's why I would put my windows down and leave my hands on the wheel if I ever got pulled over. For the record, I am legal and am not trying to "look cool". I have a problem with people's right's being taken away for "security".
You also quoted Benjamin Franklin

Anyone who trades liberty for security deserves neither liberty nor security.

Are you under the impression driving a vehicle and how you modify it falls under the catagory of a right, if so, you sir are wrong. Driving is a privilege. It can be taken away from you at any time. If you have a problem with that, write your congressman.
