My wife stopped in the dealership today to get an oil change in her Durango. I love when she goes there because they always send her home with a list of things they think needs to be done. I usually always say no but this one today had me thinking. I wasn't there to see all the details but they gave her a sheet and told her they have a new programs they are trying. For $289.00 they will change tranny, rear/front end, and transfer case fluids. The kicker is they have this contracted with some "company" that offers a $4000.00 replacement policy on any of these drive train parts if you have a failure for any reason after they preform the service. I told her there had to be more to it but who knows. The Durango has about 130,000 miles on it. We bought it used with a little under 30k miles on it so I am about 99% sure that none of these fluids have ever been changed. I know a few years I had a tranny flush in my Chevy truck and it cost about $100.00. What should I expect to pay if I don't do these fluid changes myself??? I am going to get some more info from them about this warranty from this other company. This is a Dodge Dealership by the way, anybody else on hear had a Dealership bring up this kind of offer????

I am going to verify the price, if it is as advertised ($289) I might take my TJ in and have it done as well. It's a 99 with 75K miles on it. I usually do my own oil changes but with the other fluids it's easier for me to have them done.
