Long time since Ive been around. I have a few quick questions tho.
I've gutted the inside of my jeep. I'm going to pull the tub to stop the rust before it spreads even more and take care of that problem. My first question is for those of you that have done it is, besides the steering wheel and wiring, what else do I have to take off or apart so that i dont have to worry when we go to lift the tub? Do i have to take off the windshield or is it fine where it is?
Is POR-15 my best route? I plan on grinding down as much of the frame as i can and if i can im going to get my hands on a sand blaster to get all the nooks and crannys before i use the POR or similar product. Any special steps you guys would recommend?
Thanks in advance for any help as it is much appreciated. I do have a haynes manual but i trust you guys more than them with real world experiences. Thanks.
