Hi lift jack

I just got my hi lift jack a couple months ago, so I'm not real experienced with it. The last time I used it it seemed like the handle required a harder push to get it to raise than the first couple times I used it. I know it takes some muscle to operate but it seemd harder. Any suggestions on something that could be wrong?
Thanks

That might be the problem, like I said I'm new to the off roading thing and I didn't think about oiling it. I'll try that and see what happens, thanks!

Yeah id oil it up real good and test it out to make sure its operating properly and both pins are fully engaging. Mines been on the hood for 5 years and I spray it about twice a year and no problems yet

Where do I want to oil it at? Is there key points or just everything?
