Hitch Installation

2012 sport Bought a hitch from hitchsource. When trying to insert bolts the muffler gets in the way. I can get one of them in but the angle isn't straight enough to allow all the bolts to go in. The muffler is in the way. The instructions(yes I read them) say to lower the muffer for easier installation. If I can get just one side down a little it will work but I can't figure out how to unattach the rubber holders. Any thoughts?

Grease the hanger & rubber. But there should be enough movement where you can just push the muffler to gain clearance

I just put mine on a couple weeks ago. It was tight with the muffler but worked without moving it. Tape the nuts to back end between hitch and bumper..read that tip here.
