Talking Hoping to be a new (used) jeep owner, help please

Hey everyone!
Im hoping to buy a wrangler soon and would love some tips and what to look for and what to avoid. I would definitely like a 6 cylinder. It will mostly be a daily driver with some light offroading and mountain driving here and there. I would like to stay under 18k or so. Any tips help! Thanks everyone!

Check on Autotrader.com, eBay, Cars.com and that will give you plenty of options to look at. Compare prices for Jeeps with the options you want.

Avoid 2000-2002 I believe those are the years anyway, those have had some bad stories and if its an older wrangler, look for rust everywhere! check underneath the carpeting, on the frame, the body, just basically everywhere on the undercarriage. See if you can have a mechanic or 2 check it out b4 you buy it and if you can, spray over it with a hose to see if there is any roof leaking problems. Im sure someone else will come in here and give you the details tho
