Horn honking when I lock my doors

I bought a 2014 jeep wrangler unlimited today. It doesn't have evic. I am trying to figure out how to turn off he horn when I lock my doors. I tried the method of holding the lock button the the panic button. No luck. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

Did you do it just like the owners manual says? hold the lock button then after 4 seconds, push the panic, then release both?

For vehicles not equipped with the EVIC, perform the following steps:

Press the RKE transmitter LOCK button for 4 to 10 seconds.

While the LOCK button is pressed (after four seconds), press the RKE transmitter PANIC button. Release both buttons.

Yes I tried that several time. The only thing the manual showed was how to get the lights to flash. Nothing about the horn. I googled it & tried the steps you suggested. Didn't work.

Yes it does. It is on pages 26-27 of your owner's MANUAL, not the owner's guide. However, the procedure to disable the horn is exactly like it is described above.

Ok. I check out your link. I only got a owners guide. Not much information in it. Thank you very much.

Also, since you are the original owner, you can get a free hard copy of the owner's manual. Call Jeep Customer Service at 1-877-426-5337 to request a copy. You'll have it in a few days via UPS.

Or just click the link: Order Free Wrangler Owner's Manual
