How do you handle a serious breakdown on the trail?

I have been considering making the jump from a SXS to a jeep but the one thing that concerns me is the possibility of breaking something on the trail.

How do you guys handle this? The only place I can ride is a over 120 miles from home. I currently trailer my RZR to the trails so if I break something I only have to get the vehicle back to camp and on the trailer.

If I went to a jeep I would have to drive it to the trails ( I do not have the means to tow anything as heavy as a jeep). So a serious breakage would leave me stranded 120 miles from home.

Mostly creativity, and experience. For example if you break your rear driveline u-joint, remove the driveshaft, and drive home in 4 hi, If you bend your drag link, take it off stick it in your bumper and bend it back, whatever it takes. At the very least you just have to get to a spot on the trail where you can get a trailer to get you out. Thats why its always best to hit the trails with atleast another rig, the more better the chance they can help or have the part you need. I made the same jump from 06 rhino 4 years ago, havent looked back!

:whistling: Why do you fly in an airliner, without a parachute ?

Why do you ride ia a bus without a seatbelt ?

Why do you eat at McDonalds-?

Life ain't simple and there's no guarantee--if you're not willing to take a small chance--don't gette jeep !

Stay on the freeway with tow trucks and ambulances !
