Not a veteran myself, but wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for your service. There's always a cold beer in my garage for you

I was flying over you looking down on Tusla and thinking how freaking cold it must be down there. I was with a Marine F/A-18D Hornet squadron flying out of Aviano 95-96. If I recall, didn't Clinton promise y'all would be home by Christmas??!

I went back in 99 for the Kosovo conflict.

I was with 1-1 Cav 1st Armored Division. First to cross the Sava River. Luckily I was due to ETS in October of 96 so I didn't have to do another winter. And cold is an understatement...lol. Yeah Uncle Bill let us know we were going on Thanksgiving, one week later I was on a train headed south...lol.
