How safe is the Wrangler?

When i bought my Jeep the first thing the owner told me was not to invest in any speakers because there is a good chance of them getting stolen... but i sure do love my music. What should i do?

I was worried about this too, and since i don't even have locks on my doors I invested in a very tiny very LOUD alarm: Gorilla Automotive 3008 - Gorilla Enhanced Electric Vehicle Alarm - Quadratec

Its vibration activated and theres an adjustment switch so you could have it go off if your jeep is touched, the door is opened, or if someone sits in it. I've had it for a few weeks and so far it still scares the sh*t out of me when i forget to turn it off
The YJ is in Rebuild Mode

We have not experienced any bad incidents with either of our Wranglers.

Although when I sold one of my hard tops that person that was buying it had
their windows and soft tops slashed and personal items stolen. He lived
in the City.

I think upgrading the speakers would be fine as long as it's not a speaker box or something visable . . . the head unit is what usually gets stolen . . . that and the change in the tray and whatever else they can grab.
Bite the hand that feeds you . . . you've had more than enough to eat already.

There are good speakers that will fit in the soundbar if your's has one, as well as the dash. Theives won't even know they're there.
