How to find trails?

How do you find new trails? Are there guides or websites that list them? Is google earth useful? I'm in Florida if that helps.

You can try this site, it mainly lists ATV and bike parks, but there are some for 4x4s, ATV Trails, Motorcycle Trails, Motocross Tracks, California. You might also try the Florida section of the forum and/or a local club. You can also check with the national and state forest offices, sometimes they have trails that are open. There is also a Florida Maps and Gazetteer book that you can get. I've got one for Kansas and Missouri, they usually list the fire service roads, as well as some of places that only locals know about.

Where in Florida are you? Join a jeep club. Off hand I can name 6 clubs that I know of, and I'm sure there is more.

Ask around locally. If I'm at the gas station gassing up next to a modified jeep, I tend to strike up a conversation and work into the subject...."So where have you been wheeling?" Works every time.
Check the Florida forum here on WF.
I tend to go over to Ocala. Not sure where u are, but PM me if you're interested, maybe we can meet up and go.
